Congratulations and welcome to SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB!
We’re excited to have your athlete and family join us for the upcoming season. This page serves as your Adidas Jr. 3SSB on-boarding hub and contains the required registration steps, payments, uniform information, practice details, and Adidas Jr. 3SSB circuit schedule.
Please complete Steps 1–4 below as soon as possible. All required registration items must be completed before your athlete participates in official Adidas Jr. 3SSB competition.

Step 1
COMPLETE Player Registration - Required for All Athletes
Complete the official San Diego Legacy Basketball Club Player Registration Form to provide your family's contact information, player details, emergency contacts, and required program information.
This form must be completed before an athlete can be added to the roster for practices, leagues, tournaments, or team communications.
Review the Participation Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement
You will be asked to acknowledge this agreement as part of the registration process.

Step 2
REQUIRED FOR Adidas JR. 3SSB ATHLETES
All Adidas Jr. 3SSB athletes must order their official adidas 3SSB uniform package through the BSN Sports Team Store.
Uniform Package: $145 — Youth & Adult sizes
Initial Uniform Deadline: October 6, 2026
Team Store Open: October 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027
IMPORTANT: Uniform orders must be placed by October 6 to allow time for processing and approval before our first Adidas Jr. 3SSB Circuit event. Please do not wait to order.
The store also includes 13 additional player and fan gear items, which have a faster turnaround and may be ordered throughout the store period.
STEP 3 — SUBMIT REQUIRED PAYMENTS
To secure your athlete’s roster position, please submit the required program payments.
Club Registration Fee: $210
Includes:
• Annual Club Registration
• Official Game Uniform
• Numbered Practice Jersey
✅ Monthly Coaching Fee — $175 per month
Adidas Jr. 3SSB Down Payment: $250
Paid to SD Legacy to secure your athlete’s roster spot and help cover team registration, deposits, program operating costs, administrative expenses, and travel/lodging support for coaches.
EVENT FEE — $150 PER STOP
Paid to SD Legacy for each Adidas Jr. 3SSB Circuit event your athlete participates in. This covers tournament registration and coaching costs associated with each event. The $150 event fee is only paid for the circuit stops your team attends.
Total Due During On-boarding: $450 (new joining players) | $250 (current players)

Step 4
Uniform Request - Required for All Athletes
In addition to the Adidas Jr. 3SSB uniform, all athletes must complete the SD Legacy Club Uniform Request.
Your SD Legacy Club Registration Fee includes:
Official SD Legacy Game/Tournament Uniform
Numbered SD Legacy Practice Jersey
Submit your athlete’s uniform sizing and apparel information to ensure they receive the correct jersey, shorts, and team gear. Please double-check all sizes before submitting, as uniforms are custom-ordered specifically for each athlete.
The SD Legacy Club Uniform is separate from the Adidas Jr. 3SSB uniform and will be used for SD Legacy practices, tournaments, leagues, shootouts, and other club events outside of designated Adidas Jr. 3SSB competition.
SD LEGACY Adidas JR. 3SSB PROGRAM INFORMATION
The SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB program provides our athletes with an opportunity to compete within the Adidas Jr. 3SSB Western Circuit while continuing to develop within the SD Legacy Basketball Club.
Our focus is simple: Develop. Compete. Expose.
Players will compete against high-level programs while continuing to develop their individual skills, basketball IQ, team concepts, confidence, and understanding of the game.
TEAM FORMATION
SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB teams are formed for:
6th Grade - 1 Team
7th Grade - 1 Team
8th Grade - 2 Teams
Roster placement is based on player evaluation, team needs, commitment, and roster availability.
Our goal is to build competitive and committed teams capable of representing SD Legacy throughout the Adidas Jr. 3SSB Western Circuit.
Target Roster Size: 7–11 committed players per team.
Roster placement is not guaranteed based solely on participation in tryouts or previous participation with SD Legacy.
PLAYER & FAMILY COMMITMENT
Adidas Jr. 3SSB is a competitive program that requires commitment from both the athlete and family.
Players should be prepared to:
Attend a minimum of one team practice per week, with two practices preferred when available.
Attend scheduled Adidas Jr. 3SSB circuit events.
Communicate conflicts or absences with coaches as early as possible.
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to compete.
Continue supporting SD Legacy practices, tournaments, leagues, and additional club events when available.
We understand that school, family obligations, injuries, and other circumstances may arise. Communication with the coaching staff is essential.
PRACTICE & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
Our Adidas Jr. 3SSB practices are designed to prepare athletes to play within a consistent system rather than relearning terminology and concepts every tournament weekend.

🏀 PRACTICE FORMAT
✅ Practice #1 - Individual Skill Development
✅ Practice #2 - Team Offense & Defensive Concepts
Players will work on:
Defense: Man-to-man principles, zone concepts, full-court pressure, transition defense, communication, rotations, and team defensive responsibilities.
Offense: Core offensive sets, spacing, reads, terminology, execution, decision-making, transition offense, and playing together.
Situational Basketball: Baseline out-of-bounds plays, sideline out-of-bounds plays, jump-ball situations, press breakers, late-game situations, and other game-specific scenarios.
Our goal is for players to understand and become proficient within our system so they can play confidently and together when they step on the court.

Families should plan ahead for all circuit weekends. Game schedules, arrival times, team assignments, and additional event information will be communicated as each event approaches.
TRAVEL & LODGING
Several Adidas Jr. 3SSB circuit stops require travel outside of San Diego.
When applicable:
Team hotel blocks may be provided.
Hotel information and booking deadlines will be communicated to families.
Families are responsible for their athlete's transportation, lodging, meals, and personal travel expenses unless otherwise communicated.
Families should plan ahead for each travel weekend.
Additional travel information will be provided as early as possible before each circuit event.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITION
The Adidas Jr. 3SSB Western Circuit is an important part of our schedule, but SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB teams may compete in additional tournaments, leagues, shootouts, or events throughout the season.
These additional opportunities allow our athletes to gain more game experience, continue developing as a team, and prepare for circuit competition.
Participation, scheduling, and any associated costs for additional events will be communicated to families in advance.
COMMUNICATION
Clear and consistent communication is important throughout the SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB season.
We use two communication platforms — Stack Team App (Android | Apple | Web Version) and GroupMe App (Android | Apple | Web Version) — to keep our athletes, families, coaches, and directors informed and connected. Families should have access to both platforms and keep notifications enabled.
SD LEGACY TEAM APP
The SD Legacy Team App is our primary platform for schedules, events, and athlete availability. Families should regularly monitor the app for:
Practice schedules
Tournament and circuit information
Event RSVPs
Travel information
Team announcements
Schedule changes
Parents are responsible for keeping their athlete’s availability and RSVPs updated whenever an event is posted. Accurate RSVPs allow our coaches and directors to properly plan rosters, team entries, and event participation.

GroupMe is used for direct and day-to-day team communication, including:

Families should monitor both Team App and GroupMe throughout the season.
If your athlete will miss a practice, tournament, circuit event, or other team commitment, please communicate with the coaching staff as early as possible.
Adidas JR. 3SSB PLAYER ON-BOARDING CHECKLIST
Before your athlete is fully registered and ready to participate with SD Legacy Adidas Jr. 3SSB, please make sure each of the following has been completed:

Purchase the required Adidas uniform package through the BSN Sports Team Store. Initial uniform orders should be placed by October 6, 2026.

Submit your athlete’s sizing information for the Official SD Legacy Game/Tournament Uniform and Numbered Practice Jersey, which are included with club registration.

Add the four scheduled 2026–2027 Adidas Jr. 3SSB Western Circuit weekends to your family calendar and begin planning for required travel.

Regularly check practices, events, RSVPs, travel information, announcements, and schedule updates.
CIRCUIT EVENT FEES
The $150 event fee is paid separately for each Adidas Jr. 3SSB Circuit stop your athlete attends. Event fees will be collected as each circuit event approaches and are not required to complete the initial on-boarding checklist.
